The company as we know it was formed in 1995, but the family has been in the business dating all the way back to 1886, when Melanio Oliva started growing tobacco in Pinar del Rio, Cuba. Fast-forward to today, and they are found in almost every smoke shop, online retailer, and humidor you can find.
