My Father La Antiguedad

La Antiguedad is a line extension to Pepin Garcia's My Father marca. La Antiguedad is quite the word salad but literally translated means "the Antiquity." A nod to Pepin's rich Cuban heritage and itself an old Cuban brand, this turned out to be yet another really nice, eminently smokeable blend. Covered in a deep, almost burgundy colored Habano-seed Oscuro wrapper grown in Ecuador, underneath is a double Nicaraguan binder (Criollo and Corojo) and a 3-region long leaf blend of Nicaraguan fillers. Well-aged and box-pressed, this cigar brings a balanced, flavorful, complex, silky-smooth character that's medium to full in body. Hints of espresso, chocolate, pepper, and leathery flavors abound.
